is a favorite place for many to visit, and part of the reason for that is certainly because of all the great places to eat and to hang out with friends while you enjoy a few drinks. We wanted to put together a list for you of the best places in Rochester, as far as we're concerned. All these places are found conveniently within the 48307 zip code, and we hope you enjoy them very much!
♦ Rochester Mills Beer Co ♦
If you love a great beer as much as we do, then you really owe it to yourself to put Rochester Mills Beer Co on your itinerary next time you are traveling with Rochester limo service. Many of us enjoy bar hopping in this particular area, and there have been many times that we have started or ended our nights of bar hopping at this establishment! It's a great spot to just relax, shoot some pool, drink some great beers, and maybe even watch the game. They have live bands here too, and they mix up the genres to keep things fresh. We love the beer specials on Sundays, and even the food is excellent here. We'd recommend the sandwiches most highly! You can find Rochester Mills Beer Co at 400 Water St.
♦ Lipuma's Coney Island ♦
There can never be too many great coney islands around, and next time you're traveling with Rochester limousine, you should walk into this one and give it a try. It's an eclectic place with lots of interesting memorabilia hanging on the walls, and we like the fact that they actually have outdoor seating here, which is rare for a coney island restaurant! It's right on the river too, which makes it even better. We really love the coneys and the Chicago dogs, and we love the fact that they serve both Vernors and root beer here! Both are delicious and go so well with the food. Note that it's cash only here, so make a quick stop at the ATM before you come in. You can find Lipuma's Coney Island at 621 N Main St!
♦ Kruse & Muer on Main ♦
Kruse & Muer on Main is without a doubt one of the best places to go for a really fantastic dinner with a group of friends or maybe even with that special date. The prices are what we'd call moderate, and the quality of the food is top notch. The service and the ambiance are also really noteworthy, with gorgeous decor and very friendly staff. It gets pretty loud during peak times here, which is our only complaint, because it can be hard to hold a conversation. So we tend to come in a bit earlier. We love both the chowder and the gaspacho, and they have delicious salads, seafood, and steaks. There's quite a nice wine list here too, though it's more well-chosen than extensive. You can find Kruse & Muer on Main at 327 S Main St.
♦ Red Knapp's Dairy Bar ♦
Red Knapp's Dairy Bar is one of those old fashioned burger joints that we all love to stop in to from time to time. It's especially fun to go in a group when you are driving around with Rochester limo! The hamburgers and shakes are of course the go-to items here, but we are also huge fans of the BLT and the fries. The service isn't really noteworthy here, they're basically all business, but we don't mind that because we just want to hurry up and chow down on some of those amazing burgers! The important thing at a place like this is that they know how to cook those burgers, and they certainly do! The prices are unbelievably low, and the food is always satisfying. You can find Red Knapp's Dairy Bar at 304 S Main St.
♦ Penn Station ♦
OK sandwich lovers, listen up. Penn Station is the place that you have got to try next time you're in Rochester. We are hooked on the philly cheese steaks here, and they have amazing natural cut french fries here that will really please those tastebuds! For a drink, there's nothing better than their fresh squeezed lemonade. It's tough to find a place that puts this much effort into their food and drink, and we really appreciate that. Another sandwich that we grab as often as we can is the club, which comes with ham, turkey, and bacon, and it is just packed with flavor. Don't forget to come in on Tuesdays for free cookie day! Nice way to bring in those with a sweet tooth! You can find Penn Station at 146 S Main St.
♦ O'Connor's Public House ♦
It's tougher to find a great Irish pub in these parts than you'd expect, but O'Connor's Public House is the kind of place that you can really rely on. They have the most fantastic Irish food around... delicious Guinness stew that will really fill you up, wonderful shepherd's pie, tasty boxty, fantastic bacon and cabbage... we could go on and on with that list but you get the point. All the traditional favorites, done right. They have been voted best Irish food in Detroit for three years in a row, and we think that says it all. Beyond the food they also have live entertainment on Wednesday thru Saturday nights, and you can even come in for a great Brunch on Sundays. Now that's what we're talkin' about. You can find O'Connor's Public House at 324 Main St. One of our highest recommendations!
♦ Georgio's Pizza & Pasta ♦
When you are craving delicious Italian food, you have got to check out Georgio's Pizza & Pasta! We just love this place. It's modern and relaxed, and very comfortable. They have some of the tastiest wings that we have ever had, which is something you may not expect at a place like this. The pizza that they're known for is really impressive, with wonderful specialty pizzas that they're happy to customize to your liking. The calzones are also very nice, and the pasta is just fantastic! The gnocchi with palomino sauce is our favorite (half marinara, half alfredo!). And they've got delicious garlic knots here too, which are very difficult to find in Michigan! True New York style. You can find Georgio's Pizza & Pasta at 17 S Main St.
♦ Rochester Chop House & Oyster Bar ♦
Rochester Chop House & Oyster Bar gets mad love from us for their unwavering quality and their great old fashioned vibe that really seems authentic and heartfelt. It's tough to pull that off nowadays! The prices are some of the highest that you will find in this area, but the food is most certainly worth it. If you are a fan of escargot like we are, theirs is superb. The salmon laurence is our top choice on the menu, followed very closely by their perfectly cooked to order steaks. They often have featured specials that really showcase the talents of the chefs here, so we recommend that you pay attention to the specials and try them when they sound appealing to you. We've never been let down. You can find Rochester Chop House & Oyster Bar at 306 S Main St!
♦ Rojo Mexican Bistro ♦
We love the fact that the walls are actually painted red at Rojo Mexican Bistro (rojo means red if you didn't know!) and that helps you to remember the place and the name. It also gets your appetite going! The chips and salsa are fantastic here, and a very nice starter before your meal. We're huge fans of the enchiladas here, and they have wonderful lobster tacos that will really knock your socks off! The rice and beans are very tasty, and as you know that's an essential part of the experience at a Mexican restaurant. They have great margaritas and sangria here too, so you can enjoy a refreshing drink with your meal. We would very highly recommend this place to any Mexican food lovers in Rochester! Find it at 401 S Main St.
♦ Two Sisters Family Restaurant ♦
If you are traveling with Rochester limousine, Two Sisters Family Restaurant is a great place to go for a really hearty Polish meal that will fill up everyone in your party and not leave anyone still hungry for more! The decor in this restaurant has never changed in all the decades that we've been coming in, but we wouldn't want it to. It would lose its charm! Happily, we can tell you that the food hasn't changed either. It's the same high quality time after time. The chicken and dumplings soup is one of our favorite comfort foods here, and they have wonderful pierogies too. The kielbasa is delicious, and we love the combo plates to get a few different flavors, especially if you're new to the restaurant. You will be able to find this little Polish gem at 121 S Main St. Love it!
